Ford India post record sales growth of 36% in October 2013

Ashok Leyland witness 15% drop in October 2013 sales


Ashok Leyland sold a total of 6,803 vehicles in August 2013 against 7,997 units in October 2012, registering sales decline of 15%. The medium and heavy commercial vehicles registered 18% drop in sales at 4,093 units for October 2013 against 4,964 units sold in October 2012. GM India registers 14% sales growth for October 2013

Honda post 39% increase for October 2013 sales


Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), registered growth of 39% for October 2013 sales with 11,214 units as against 8,085 units sold during the October 2012. TVS Motors post 4% sales growth for October 2013


TVS Motors registered 4% growth in sales for the month of October 2013 with 197,905 units sold against 190,438 units sold in October 2012. The total domestic sales registered 2% in October 2013 at 174,751 units against 171,875 units in October 2012. Maruti Suzuki witness 2% growth for October 2013 sales


The sales for Maruti Suzuki India Limited for the month of October 2013 grow by 2% at 105,087units sold including exports, as against 103,108 units in October 2012. Domestic sales stood flat with 96,062 units sold in October 2013, as against 96,002 units sold in October 2012. M&M October 2013 Sales at 5% decline


The total sales for Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. for the month of October 2013 stood at 50,558 units including exports which registered a decline of 5% against 53,439 units sold in October 2012. Tata Motors sold 51,638 units in October 2013, 29% decline against October 2012


The total sales for Tata Motors in the month of October 2013 stood at 51,638 units compared to 71,771 units in October 2012 registering a declined at 28%. Total domestic sales stood at 46,926 units in October 2013, registering 31% dip as against 68,145 units in October 2012. Exports increased by 30% in October 2013 at 4712 units against 3626 units in October 2012.

Mahindra set to extend their boundaries beyond traditional strongholds
