The total sales for Bajaj auto for the month of August 2014 stood at 336,840 units against 312,188 units in August 2013, registering 8% growth. Motorcycles sales grow by 2% in August 2014 which stood at 284,302 units against 278,583 units in August 2013. Three wheeler sales were 52,538 units in August 2014 against 33,605 units during the same month of previous year, marking a growth of 56%.
The
cumulative sales for April to August period for fiscal year 2014-15 for
Bajaj Auto stood at 1,644,562 units against 1,572,790 units during same
period of previous fiscal, registering 5% growth. Year to date sales of
motorcycles grew by 16% which stood at 1,427,001 against 1,385,562
units during same period of previous financial year. Three wheeler sales
for ytd FY 2014-15 were 217,561 units; recorded 16% growth against
187,228 units sold during the same period of FY 2013-14.
