General Motors sold total 3,619 vehicle in December 2014 compare to 5,705 units sold in December 2013. Recently General Motors has taken some steps to increase its sales in India.
Globally General Motors improved its performance in Q3 2014. It sold 2,449,595 units of vehicles of Q3 2014 with growth of 2% compare to Q3 2013.It is best performance by GM after 1980. majority sales driven by its home market US and world largest car market China. In USA, it registered 8% and in China it registered 14% growth. In November 2014 also it has given best sales result. In US market with sale of 225,818 units and 6% sales growth compare to last year of the same month. It is by company best ever performance since 2007.
China is one of the major market for GM. In China November 2014 cumulative sales touched 10 Million units. It is best performance since 1997 in Chinese market.
