Tata Motors' total sales (including
exports) of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles in September 2014
were 46,118 vehicles, a decline of 8% over 50,387 vehicles sold
in September 2013.
The
company's domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles
for September 2014 were 40,874 units., 11% decline over 45,958 units.
sold in September last year. The company's sales from exports were 5,244
units. in September 2014, declined by 18% compared to 4,429 vehicles
in September last year.
The
company's sales of commercial vehicles in September 2014 in the
domestic market were 28,943, a 13% decline compared to 33,119 vehicles
sold in September last year. M&HCV was struggling but now it is
showing positive trend, however LCV segment is going down by 24% in
September 14.
The
car sales is flat, ACG was expecting some growth due to new launched
Tata Zest and festive season. Utility vehicles vehicle market is very
attractive and Tata needs to introduce some new models which can compete
with other successful model. It registered 30% declined in September
2014.

Eicher Truck and Bus Sales (VECV):
The
total sales for Eicher Trucks and Bus for September 2014 were 3,176
units against 2,847 units in September 2013, registering 12% of sales.
The domestic sales for the month increased by 18% as 2,781 units were
sold against 2,361 units sold during the same month of previous year.
Exports for the month were 395 units against 486 units exported
during September 2013.
