TVS Motor Company recorded 46% growth in sales during the month of
August 2014, with total sales of 227,482 units in the month of August
2014 against 155,532 units recorded in the month of August 2013.
Total two wheeler sales increased by 47% at 217,662 units in August 2014 against 148,469 units recorded in August 2013. Three wheeler sales of the company registered an increase of 39%, to 9,820 units in August 2014 against 7,063 units in August 2013.
The company's total exports grew by 28% with 35,074 units sold in August 2014 against 27,425 units in the month of August 2013. Two wheeler exports registered a growth of 27% with sales increasing from 21,374 units in August 2013 to 27,115 units in August 2014.
