Honda Cars India Ltd., recorded a
monthly domestic sales of 15,709 units in July 2014 registering a growth
of 40% as compared against 11,223 units sold during July 2013.
The exports were 858 units during July 2014 against 756 units in July 2013, marking 13% growth. The overall sales witnessed 38% growth as 16,567 units were sold in July 2014 against 11,979 units in July 2013.
The
company sold 56,427 units from April – July'14 as against 40,350 units
sold during the same period last year, marking a growth of 40%.
Modelwise Sales Overview
The
sales figures generated by Honda City has been a major contributor to
the growth along with Amaze. The sales of City stood at 7705 units
whereas 4507 units of Amaze were sold. The company reported 3,365 units
of the newly launched Mobilio being sold in July 2014.

delight on the company's performance Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Sr. Vice
President – Marketing &Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, "We are

recently launched Honda Mobilio has received good response from the
market with over 10,000 bookings since its launch and are confident that
