Car sales in India
In December 2014, Maruti Suzuki increased its sales from 86,613 in December 2013 units to 98,109 units. HyundaiMahindra & Mahindra,Honda, Tata MotorsToyotaVolkswagenNissanFiat, Isuzu has increased their sales in December 2014 compare to December 2013.Unknown Object 
Indian car OEM market shareMaruti Suzuki is keep its market leader position with 46% market share. Maruti is having strong product portfolio in small car segment. Its flagship product like Swift, Wagon R, Ertiga are giving good support to company sales and market share. New Swift is well accepted by market and received good response for its new features. Hyundai market share 15%, it is also having some flagship product like Hyundai i10, i20. Mahindra and Mahindra market share around 8.6%. Mahindra & Mahindra is having strong grip in SUV, MUV segment with product like Bolero, Scorpio, XUV. These are top three OEMs in December month 2014. Isuzu has entered new segment of Mini truck. This segment will have double digit growth in next few years. It could have a multiple application. 
Car sales in India
Maruti sold 81,564 cars in December 2014, 8.409 units more than December 2013. Hyundai Motors increased its sale from 4,109 units in December 2014.
Indian car market shareMaruti Suzuki lost around 2% market share in car segment. Its sedan car ciaz is expected to pick some momentum in this year. Honda gained around 4% market share with excellent performance by Honda city and Amaze, Tata with strong performance by Tata ZEST helped to increase 4.9% to 6.5 market share. Toyota, Volkswagen registered flat market share.
Car sales December 2014 indiaMahindra and Mahindra is having strong portfolio segment. Bolero, XUV 500, Scorpio are the flagship products of Mahindra. Toyota Fortuna and Toyota Innova are leading products in SUV and MUV segment. Ford EcoSport, Nissan Terrano, Renualt Duster are another American and European leading product in this segment.
SUV and MUV market analysisMahindra & Mahindra market leader with 39.5% market share, Toyota and Maruti Suzuki are second and third position with 14% and 13.3% market share.
Van sales analysis of Indian marketMaruti registered positive growth in December 2014. It sold 10,771 units, Tata Motors sold 1,586 units and Mahindra & Mahindra sold 669 units in December 2014.
Sales trend in Car 2014In January 2014 160,289 Car sold compare 173,449 vehicles in January 2013. By end of the year this de growth convert into growth of 15% compare to December 2013. Maximum sales happened in the month of March including primary and Secondary sales.
MUV/SUV Market Overview:
Indian SUV and MUV marketSeptember  and October were the registered maximum sales in SUV and MUV segment due to festive season in India. This segment noted around 7.6% growth n December 2014 compare to December 2013. In year 2014, we have seen some customer buying changes in this segment. In some cities Innova customers started to compare with Ertiga, this change is increasing in year 2014. 
In Brand awareness also Nissan Terrano promoted heavily compare to Renault Duster. Scorpio has promoted in a big way compare to XUV and Mahindra Quanto. 
Van Market Overview:
Van Sales TrendIn January 2014, 13,579 units compare to 19,996 units January 2013. In December 2014, 13,026 units compare to 13,252 units of the same month of the last year.
